This truly unique piece is made on a heavy, solid block of what I believe to be rosewood, sourced from my uncle’s guitar repair shop. It was created using encaustic medium combined with oil paints and Japanese woodblock prints. The work features intricate carving and careful masking to form refined shapes and layered textures.
